Snowshoes
Lofoten Kajakk is delighted to be able to offer guided snowshoe hikes in our magnificent winter nature. Join us on a walk lasting two and a half hours in the Lofoten lowlands. Of course this area is not as flat as some other places in the world ... but for us this is about as flat as it gets. Valleys and some hills with a beautiful view provide an enchanting and different experience in Lofoten. On the trip, you can explore our varied nature by tracking animals and birds. The slow-growing forest of the Lofoten can also offer delightful surprises. The names of lakes, mountains and valleys provide a silent reflection of the people who dwelt here in days gone by, and the way they lived. Tranquil evening hikes in the moonlight - or the northern lights on a moonless night - or experience both on the same trip. Our trips leave when you want, if you are in a group with 5 or more people.
Our guides bring up to 15 people on our snowshoe hikes. We have snowshoes and poles for hire on the trip. Contact us for bookings throughout the winter - and our winter is from November to May.
