Multiple days trip
Suitable for people who have taken part in a Star2 course and want to learn how to make the right preparations for the trips. A trip for those who can take care of themselves in a sea kayak and enjoy going out for a few days. Wednesday 09:00 till Friday afternoon.
Content of the course - trip
We talk together in morning and check that everyone has brought the right type and amount of food and equipment. We do a rapid update/purchase of this before we leave Svolvær/Kabelvåg. On the beach we get ready. You pack your kayak and some shared equipment is handed out to supplement your own. A quick review of group and partner rescue, and then we set out on the trip.
The trip is planned, but it is always the weather that determines what we can do. For this reason we do not do garante the trips, where we ar going to go. Each day presents its own challenges and make decisions where to go. It is a part of the experience to become more familiar with all the routines involved in sea kayak paddling trips. Throughout the trip you receive expert tips from knowledgeable and safety-conscious instructors/guides. Use of a kayak with equipment is included in the cost for the trip.
